Chef Art Britto has spent the last 25 years refining his culinary skills in some of the most outstanding restaurant kitchens on the Eastern Seaboard. Now as owner/chef at Rosemary and Wine, he brings his renowned skills to Gloucester. Art loves incorporating a variety of local ingredients that highlight the flavors in his recipes. His strong Italian heritage shows through in Chef Britto's cooking with dishes like his "Three Generation Italian Pasta" that embed subtle hints of Tuscany. "We like to try bring in a lot of variety to the menu with weekly specials so I try to introduce a dish that I've complemented with one of our special wines from the wine shop." No dining experience at Rosemary and Wine is complete without trying some of the extraordinary desserts created by Art. "Desserts are one of the most enjoyable parts of cooking" says Art. "I love creating new and exciting deserts that bring a smile to our customers". On August 4th Art was honored to be asked to participate as a celebrity chef for the annual fund raiser, Food from the Heart held at White Hall, sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Banks.
